What happens when you have appendicitis??

I'm curious since i have had a lot of pain on my lower right side, and it's been getting significantly worse the past few days. I've also been quite sick and just not feeling good. I was just curious what happens when you have appenditicis?? What are the symptoms?? What would happen if it burst?? I'm just really curious, i'm kinda afraid i might have it. If it's still there tomorrow i'll go to the doctor but yeah. Thanks.
