How do i try out for seussical.?

Ok, i've decided im going to try out for the seussical production my school is having. What guy parts are there? And, if i wanted to try out for horton or the cat himself what would i need to sing? Oh and btw, to audition you have to sing a 30 second to 1 minute section from a song of the character of you're choice.
