TLC channel = Televised Live Circus?

Isn't the TLC channel one giant freak show? 90% of all of their shows have something to do with some kind of natural abnormality. They have like 5 shows about little people and like 7 about very large families and at least 15 about some other abnormality such as the mermaid girl or the tree man. It's just one big freak show. What do you think? Is TLC a really a Televised Live Circus? (I just thought of that)
