Where can I buy a fairly inexpensive journal that looks nice and that I can also inscribe w/ initials?

I noticed a friend has begun writing some poetry. For her birthday, I would like to buy her a personalized journal. Something not overly fancy, but nicer than your grocery store notebook. I'd also really, really love the option of having it engraved/inscribed with her name or initials. I've started looking online but everything has been very expensive (like $50 and up up up). I don't have a huge budget but would like to make this a special gift! Any recommendations of sites or stores I could order such journal from?
