Is Rift going to be good?

This question is to those players who participated in the 3 day vip OPEN beta.. or are currently in Open Beta who can speak about it. Is the game any good? if you find it worthy of competing with the trash game they call World of Warcraft, Please fill me in on some insight of what makes this game good. Thanks!
