How big is branson mo?

is it a big city or easy to find your way around . is branson really worth the trip ie lots to do? is it warm there in january or do i need to take my canadain clothes.? is there a major airport near there? do they have busses or such to get around or i need to drive or rent a car when i get there? please help going there next week and the brocher dosnt say much about this stuff thank you only tells you about the shows
